They killed Kid Flash in Young Justice. This is a story for GhostGirl (If you REALLY want an emotional effect, read this while listening to "Missing" by: Evanescence) :
It was Wally's funeral. The mood was terrible, the Teen Titans, Young Justice, and the JLA were there. (Yes yes, I know, Young Justice is the Teen Titans, etc. BUT I DON'T CARE OKAY?!) Even Artemis managed to sneak away, everyone was quiet as people began to speak.
First, it was Robin/Nightwing: "I knew Kid Flash really well. We were close friends. I never thought of him as the one to make the sacrifice play though. He was a goof, but he was a hero. Wally knew what he had to do, and he put others before himself. Wally will be missed, but his sacrifice won't be in vain."
Megan/Miss M: "Wally was the first one to really be friendly to me, the first boy anyway. I wish he was still here, but we have to honor him and keep fighting."
(I can't do everyone, but I'm going to do these two because I can't decide who Kid Flash belonged with.)
Jinx: "I never should have let him go. I really shouldn't have. He was so kind to me, he convinced me to leave a life of crime. I owe him for that, I can't ever repay that debt, I was just so angry when he flirted with other girls, but I didn't hate him. He thought I did, but I don't. Now, it's too late to say I'm sorry. It's too late to set things right."
Finally Artemis: "I honestly don't know what to say. The Team knows I'm not good at emotional speeches. Long story short, I loved him, no I LOVE him, and he loved me. I'd like to think he still does. I hope he's okay wherever he is, good luck to the new Kid Flash, but Wally will always be THE Kid Flash to the Team, the world, but to me he's Wally West."
Well, there you have it folks, damn, now I'm crying too! CURSE YOU REACH!
