Tony had always been a confident boy. Or at least, that's who he portrayed. So for him, seeing the bright purple sign on the wall that said "Masquerade" was right up his ally. Throwing on a mask and forcing himself to dance to the music was his life anyway.

He prepared relentlessly, chatting with his friends avidly about his suit, but never telling them what it looked like.

On the day of the dance though, he was glad they didn't know what he looked like.

He spotted him across the room, their eyes meeting. Instantly, he felt his pulse raise as he looked into the deep blue eyes of the beautiful girl.

He was star struck, never having seen someone so radiant. He looked at the boy's strong arms, and toned abs that peeked through the his shirt, unable to hide. He wanted to feel their bodies pressed together, grinding to the beat. For once, he just wanted to be himself.

The boy strode over to him, seeming to have the same thoughts. He was taller than her, but she still exuded an air of kindness. He leaned in close, and whispered to Tony.

"I generally don't fall in love on the dance floor, but for you I'll make an exception."
