The Punishment
1.1 A shreik of laughter filled the air as three flaming figures fell to Earth. The laughter, which was now mixed with bone-chilling screams from the figures, stopped as a thundering voice growled, " That should teach all three of you not to disobey my orders!!!" The figure halted in mid air, the flames still cascading over their charred flesh, and smallest of the three spoke in a harsh, smoky voice that was filled with hatred, "Yes, we disobeyed you, but we had a right to do so!" The figure drew a ragged breath and continued, " You are a fraud, a fake god, not deserving to be in heaven or hell! We disobeyed your orders because you had no right to give them. Your angels of light might have been able to stop us from killing you now, but they can't hold us off forever. You can banish us to Earth, but you can't destroy us or our memories." And with that, the three forms continued their descent downward, only now they were floating gently instead of falling. The fire raged over their burnt bodies, but they no longer screamed with the pain of the torture that had been given to them. It seemed as though they no longer felt the fire that raced over their thin clothing and armor, over their faces, hands, feet, and wings, and then finally singed their to fine shreds. When they reached the first layer of clouds surrounding the Earth, they turned once more and chanted in unison as they dissapeared into the misty air,
"Sister goddesses are we,
Keep watch on us for we are three.
The first of Emerald and Fire with eyes so bright,
Inside her gaze is the flame of night.
The second of Destruction and Ice with a gaze of steel,
One glare from her and dead you will feel.
The last of Metal and Death with a look so dark,
Within her eyes the light of evil will spark.
Our attention is on you and our tempers are rising,
Our revenge will be disasterous just wait and see,
Because when we are through, dead you will be......"
