This is the prologue to my fanficc about vampires. They are portrayed differently here than in Twilight or Cirque Du Freak, or any other popular vampire series. I DO NOT OWN VAMPIRES OR ANY OF THE MYTHICAL CREATURES YOU WILL SEE IN THIS STORY AS IT UNFOLDS.
Prologue
I was an average human, driving on a busy bridge above the river on an average day. Partly cloudy, I think, but mostly sunny, you could see most of the bright blue sky and it was summer season, I believe. However, this day was anything but average for me, and you will see why in a minute. Anyway, while I was driving, a black car, with darkly tinted windows, came to view in my rearview mirror. It was coming closer by the second, but I didn't worry, so I acted as if it was nothing. Suddenly though, I heard a BANG!, and not the kind you would hear from a drum that has been struck by its owner. No, it was the sound you heard from a bullet leaving a magnum. Then I heard a DING! The people in the speeding black car were shooting at me! I quickly sped up, trying to flee from them by diving into the crowd of cars, trucks, and vans just feet away from me on the freeway bridge, but to no avail. My car just wouldn't go fast enough, and I was running out of opportunity and time to elude the mysterious black vehicle. Soon enough they caught up to me, so much that they were directly to my right, and I found myself hopeless. So, I took the wheel by both hands, and I veered right straight into the side of the black demon, and we both veered hard right and found ourselves falling off the bridge into the water below. I tried to open my door to get out, but it was too late. My car and I were completely submerged in the water, and I had NO WAY OUT!
