It's Boomer's side of the story in "First Kiss". I don't own the Powerpuff Girls.
Sweet Love
He's been worried ever since that battle about a week ago. His brothers tease him for the worried look he has for her. He made her cry, he made her silence herself, and he made her think he hated her. He should have answered her question. So then he didn't have to put up with the pain, guilt, and teasing.
" He's been so worried about his girlfriend." Butch snickered. " She's not my girlfriend!" Boomer blushed. " Then why are you so worried about her then?" Brick questioned. " I- I- I don't know…" Boomer sighed. Butch and Brick smirked, " Why did you watch through her window on that battle?" asked Butch. " How'd you know that?" Boomer blushed. " Did you break her heart?" Brick and Butch said in unison. "…" Boomer held his tears back and flew to the secret spot, leaving his brothers in a laughing state.
He quickly flew to the secret spot, to his usual tree. He thought he was the only one who knew about this beautiful spot. Where he can show his other side, his environment loving, kind to animals, artistic side. He didn't notice the girl who flew on the other side of the simple tree. He suddenly thought of what happened during the fight a week ago.
Flashback
Boomer and his brothers just robbed a bank easily and were now waiting for the Powerpuff Girls. " Not so fast, Rowdyruff Boys!" yelled the girls in unison. They smirked, " Took you long enough Powderpuff Girls." teased Brick. Then they split up in different directions. The girls followed them in pursuit.
Boomer found himself with Bubbles in the woods. Then he stopped himself, but felt sorry for what he's about to do. She knocked into him then he turned around and gave her a fake smirk. He punched her hard in the face and he watched her fall. He softly kicked her back up in the air so she wouldn't fall to the floor.
When she pulled herself together, she flew straight towards him and punched him in the face. They both started to throw multiple punches and kicks to each other. Surprisingly, he dodged and blocked almost all of the blows, but Bubbles got hit by almost all of the blows. Once again she fell down, but Boomer caught her and held her tight to a tree. He could feel she was too weak to move so he placed his arm around her neck. " Any last words, Powderpuff?" He said evilly.
He felt so sorry for her. He didn't know why he felt like this about her. He wanted to know why he felt so sorry when he fought her. Why did he always save her from falling? He always felt he was in pure happiness when he was with her. Then, he realized it; he was in love with the hero.
" Yes, I do. Why does your eyes say your sorry?" she asked. He was shocked at the question. " Why do you save me from falling?" She was onto him and he started to blush. " I know this is off subject, but I need to know this, um…do you l-love me?" She blushed a bright pink; he became a deep red. Pressure came across his body in the awkward silence. " I… I…d-d," Boomer stuttered in a flustered state.
Suddenly, they saw his brother's flying away. He put her on the floor and flew to his brothers. " What the heck happened?" asked Butch. "…" Was all he could say.
End flashback
He started to cry for what he did. " Why are you crying?" He jumped at the voice and looked over to see Bubbles. " I-I… was teased by my brothers with some hurtful words." He said. " What's the reason?" she questioned. He blushed, "Um…you." He saw her face turn pink.
" I keep spacing out, thinking of you, and so they keep teasing me." He continued and blushed a deep red when he saw her angelic smile. " Bubbles, I…l-l-lo-love you…" he blushed and stuttered out. He looked up to see her crying for joy. Then she gave him a sweet and passionate kiss, his first kiss. " I love you too." She cried. He smiled joyfully and kissed Bubbles back.
