This is the mostly anticipated (I hope) fluffy Kabu x Naru!

Naru-chan was hated by the whole village, and he didn't know why. They would beet him and call him names, but he was used to that. He wasn't scared of much, but tonight…he just hoped the old hag at the orphanage didn't lock the door yet, normally that wouldn't be a problem, he would just sleep outside…but tonight…?

Naru-chan wasn't scared of much, but he was afraid of thunder.

Tonight just happen to have a thunder storm. And there was no one there to scare it away!

A ten year old Kabuto ran through the streets as the rain pored down. His father needed more noodles for that dinner party…thing, there were too many people and not enough food, so he was sent out to get said food.

Kabuto stopped to make sure he was going to the market and not automatically going to the academy. Cursing under his breath as he turned to go back the way he came, but stopped. He had seen a turf of yellow hair. There was someone out here in this weather?

Kabuto approached the blond, only to see a small boy who was scared to death, jumping at every crack of thunder that tore across the sky.

"Hey," the blond looked up, startled 'His eyes are really beautiful.' Thought Kabuto. "Why're you out here? You should be inside, you might get a cold."

The blond seemed to cry, Kabuto was already hugging him before any of his tears started to fall. 'Eyes like that should never shed tears.' "Shh….It's okay, aren't you scared to be out here alone?"

Blue eyes looked at him "I'm not scared, and I'm not alone, so I'm not scared." Kabuto was touched, his blond wasn't scared because he was here. Kabuto stayed with his blond (still not knowing his name.) all night, even after the thunder storm passed, silently telling him there wasn't anything to be scared of, nothing in the world. Until they both fell asleep leaning ageist the tree and each other.

When Kabuto opened his eyes he found that his blond was gone! He would find his blond again, he would! Even if he had to go through all the people, all the information in this whole village to do so, he would find those blue eyes and make them happy.
