When a character dies
a piece of our souls die as well.
these characters aren't just fiction on a piece of paper,
they are bigger than that.
They are our best friends.
The ones who will be there until the very end
of time.
How can we lose them?
Freds death was devastating.
How will George go on without his twin?
Lupin and Tonks was crushing...
They just had a child, why did they have to die?!
Every death had a meaning.
Whether it was reiterating a fact of war,
or creating a factor of war.
war is despicable.
Without war they wouldn't have died.
Without war, there would have been no permanent goodbyes.
Without war they would have lived on.
Without war, our souls would be intact.
But they live on,
if only in our hearts.
Hogwarts will always be there,
for us to call home.
