This just a short story with my orginal characters.

From Sorrow to pure Happiness

"Ka-Chan!" Yelled Tara from below.

"Kari! Get your butt down here!" Ordered Fate.

"Guys leave her alone. When she's up on the rooftop she wants to be alone," said Wari.

Kari heard all of her friends' voices. Her forest green eyes were now red and puffy. Kari usually sat on top of the old elementary school's roof when something bad had happened. The cool autumn breeze flowed through her black hair.

"Hey, have you seen Kari?" Asked Galin.

Tara pointed to the school roof. Galin sighed as he walked over to the red brick wall.

"Don't even bother. She won't listen to us, so then why would she--

Tara jabbed Fate on the stomach with here elbow. Galin cast a spell to lift him upon the roof. As he walked towards her, he saw Kari hugging her knees tightly to her chest.

He bent down to her level an asked, "Kari what's the matter?

Kari slowly lifted her head and looked at him. Galin saw her puffy red eyes.

"You have been crying. What's--

He was cut off by Kari hugging his chest tightly. He placed one hand on her head and the other on her shoulder. She sat there crying on his chest. He caressed her cheek to calm her down. Galin's white hair blew along in the breeze.

Kari lifted her head. "I'm sorry," she said in a daze.

"For what?"

"For crying on your shirt."

"Don't worry about it," he started."What made you so upset in the first place?"

Kari came to her feet; "Well my best friend is in the hospital. And well..."

"Well what? It's not your fault."

"That's the thing. It is my fault. There is a creature that is after me and it attacked Yina instead."

Galin rose to his feet and walked towards Kari.

"KARRIE!" Screamed Runa. "Where is that..that murderer!"

"She wants to blame me again," Kari whispered to Galin. "I guess that I should go down there, before she---

Galin grabbed her arm and pulled her to a spot where they couldn't be seen.

"Galin! What are you--

Galin pressed his lips against hers, for a passionate kiss. Kari was shocked, but returned the kiss.

Galin pulled away and asked, "Are you happy now?"

"Yes, but..."

"But what?"

Kari kissed him again. Galin's smile slowly turned into a smirk.

"Now I am happy."

Galin looked at the sky. "It is getting pretty late."

"Yeah, I guess so," she said sadly.

The next thing Kari knew, she was in Galin's arms. She held on to his neck.

"What are you doing?"

"Well, I want to keep you. So, I want to take you home with me."

Kari smiled and looked into his arctic blue eyes.
