Haley strolled through the house she and her high school sweetheart turned hubby shared. She caressed her growing belly and the child within kicked. She smiled slightly and tried to ignore the pain.
She and Nathan were in the middle of a VERY heated argument when she just decided to just walk out. She could tell that it was upsetting the baby.
However, Nathan followed her into the living room. "Haley, I wasn't finished talking to you!!"
She rolled her eyes and spun around to face him. "Nathan, I'm tired of arguing with you!! I never win anyway!" She waddled over, putting a hand on her lower back to support the strain she felt.
"Haley, get back here!!"
She spun around, once again, her growing, two-toned hair following her. "Nathan, look, I'm tired! I'm hormonal!! I-I don't want to argue!!"
"Haley—"
"I never promised you a ray of light!! If I make you so unhappy, then why did you marry me, Nathan!?!"
He was silent, his jaw dropped in awe at her frustration.
"I never promised there'd be sunshine everyday. I've given you everything I have, the good, the bad."
"Haley, I'm not saying that I regret marrying you!! 'Cuz I don't!"
"Then what are you saying, Nathan!?! Why do you put me on a pedistal? I'm so up high that I can't see the ground below!!"
"I know you're not perfect—"
"So why are you getting upset, like everything's MY fault?!?! One thing is clear, undoubatly, to you, I wear a halo, when you look at me! But standing here, MASSIVE like a whale, you wouldn't say so! You wouldn't say so, if you were me!! And me, I just wanna love you, Nathan!! I don't try to make you seem perfect, because I know you're not!! I don't put you on a pedestel!!"
"Haley, STOP!! I'm not trying to make you feel bad!!"
"I TOLD YOU I WAS HORMONAL!! NOW YOU'VE GOT ME GOING!!"
"Haley, I always said that I would make mistakes. I'm only human, and I'll admit that myself. I will! So don't be blinded."
"Nathan, see me as I really am, I have flaws and sometimes I even sin."
"Haley, I DO see you as you really are….And I love you for all that you are!"
Haley winced and her face twisted in pain. The baby was kicking her harder then she'd ever felt before.
"Haley!?!" Nathan called, his voice shacking in horror.
She swyaed and her eyes rolled to the back of her head.
"Haley!!"
And with that, Haley James Scott collasped.
Nathan rushed to her side and immediately checked for a pulse. He couldn't find one. "Oh my God. Haley!!"
He began to pant. "S-Somebody HELP!!!" He looked at Haley, tears gathering. "Haley, hold on….Hold on, baby….Just hold on…."
