"Sakura!" Kakashi yelled. "Kill Naruto or Sasuke dies!!"
Sakura never hesitated and swiftly pulled out a well sharpened kunai. With a shout of "Understood," Sakura cleanly slit the neck of Naruto. A mortified Hinata, hidden a good distance away, watched with her Byakugan as Naruto's life rapidly silpped away. With inhuman speed she rushed towards him, tears falling in hot streams down her face. She reached him in time to witness him die in her arms. She let forth an anguished wail and crumpled to the ground in front of the person she admired and loved.
"Without Naruto, I see no reason for me to live." Was all she said before she ripped the kunai from Sakura's grasp and rammed it into her broken heart. Within moments she died holding onto the pale body of Naruto.
Kakashi and Sasuke were frozen and were unable to think as this all suddenly played out. Kakashi, however, noticed that Sakura was headed towards them and quickly ran off to the Hokage tower. Sasuke was not as lucky.
"Sasuke-ku-u-u-un!" She said with an oddly detached voice. She grabbed him and pulled him into a vice-grip like hug that left Sasuke helpless and covered in the blood of Naruto. "We shall be together forever, for it is the bonds of love that tie us together!" She exclaimed wildly.
A few days later, in the ANBU Insanity Ward.
A pink haired female sat on her knees in the middle of a padded room with no windows. She was bound by a white straight jacket and was shaking profusely. Those with sharp enough ears could hear mumbling emanating from her.
"Together forever with Sasuke-kun. Me, the future Sakura Uchiha. We will rebuild the greatest and most loyal clan in all of Konoha. We will be so happy, and everyone will love us."
