RubyxSapphire: Hey-oh! Also this will be a grantedshipping fic. Why? Well because there are not a lot of them on here.

P.S. I don't own pokémon.

The wind blew softly. Yellow stood at the dock of Vermillion. Her eyes were closed and her arms spread out, feeling the coolness of the wind. The sun shone brightly through the cloudless skies. She wore a smile on her face. She was waiting to meet her friends. She came early because of the great weather.

The wind suddenly blew more violently. Her blond hair flew around her wildly.

"Gahh!" She screamed. She covered her face with her hands.

A yellow-orange dragon with a red-headed rider landed on the dock. The rider jumped off and returned the pokémon back into the pokéball. He curiously stared at Yellow. She still had her face covered.

"Are you okay?" He spoke up. He noticed the girl hadn't changed one bit. The same cowboy get-up…

She peeked through her fingers. "L-Lance! W-what are you doing here?"

He blinked. "I should have a reason to come here?"

She nodded. "Yeah…so why?"

His head turned to the city. A crowd was watching them. His eyes narrowed into slits. The crowd immediately scurried off.

Yellow was quiet. She removed her left hand and waved it in his face. "Hey!"

"I don't know. I was drawn to this area." Lance answered. He faced her, "you haven't changed one bit."

She removed her other hand before looking down at her attire. "You haven't…" She noticed the black cape, the navy blue outfit with orange laces and the brown cuffs and navy blue boots. "Never mind…"

He stifled a chuckle. He noticed a strand of her hair and reached out the remove it from her face.

"Yellow?" Red's voice made Yellow froze and Lance tense up.

She cautiously turned to her right. "R-Red…"

His gaze landed on the red-headed boy. "What are you doing here?"

"Why must you ask? Can I not come here on my own free will?" Lance asked.

Red was silence.

"No answer?" He asked. His hand fell to his side and looked at the ship at the dock. "I have a ticket for the cruise. You and your friends must hand one too and I right?" He asked.

"Y-yes." Yellow squeaked.

"You don't have to answer to him, Yellow!" Red said.

He walked towards them. His gaze still glued on Lance.

Lance looked at Yellow and took a few steps back.

"Hey! Sorry we're late!" Blue yelled. She was holding Green's hand and rushing towards them.

She halted to a stop, letting go of his hand. Green stopped clumsily but quickly recovered.

"Lance?" She stared at him cautiously.

Green was silent but raised a brow.

Lance rolled his eyes. "I have a ticket to get on this cruise."

The horn blew. Yellow jumped. Blue glared at Lance as she made her way to her blond friend. "C'mon, time to board it."

Lance noticed that just about everyone else wore something different. Blue wore a blue sleeveless shirt and a red skirt, with a white pokélogo hat. Green wore a black collared shirt with baggy brown pants, and Red, he wore a red vest over a black short sleeve shirt and jeans.

'At least they changed.' Lance thought.

Crowds of people were passing them and boarding the ship. The four didn't say a word and blended in with the crowd.

Yellow was silent. She looked at her ticket. 'Room 201…I hope I'm not stuck with a stranger.' She thought. She walked to the second floor and found her room on the left side. She got out the key and opened it. Her eyes widened. He wasn't a stranger…but not what she had hoped for.
