The boy sighed and looked out the window again. It was stillraining, harder than ever now. Drops of water ran down the window. They reminded him of tears. Those tears, the ones that ran down.... he stopped and looked away. He couldn't think about that now.

I own nothing. Don't sue

A/N You have to guess who it is…………

The boy sighed and looked out the window again. It was still raining, harder than ever now. Drops of water ran down the window. They reminded him of tears. Those tears, the ones that ran down h.... he stopped and looked away. He couldn't think about that now. He was supposed to be getting over it....

A girl screams, and cries. Sobs are coming from a corner of the dark room, and there is a loud noise coming from outside...

The boy looked down and saw his hands were gripping the back of his chair. His knuckles were white. He let go of the chair and walked to his desk. He pulled a piece or parchment and a quill out of the drawer, sat down, and began to write.

He wrote for hours. The parchment full of small messy writing. It looked like the writing he used to see h.... STOP IT! He thought to himself. STOP IT!

He walked to the window again and looked out. There was an owl on the sill. A snowy white owl. He opened the window and let it in. It sat on the chair and looked at him.

"Well, aren't you going to give me a letter or something?"

It blinked at him. Then lifted it's leg. Tied to it was a single piece of parchment. He took it off and began to read....

Dear Draco,

I remembered what you said the other day in your letter. The worst is yet to come. And you're right. I know you're right. I heard a wizard at the Ministry yesterday saying that there were death eaters everywhere. But they didn't know who.

They do know about your father.... I'm sorry Draco. I wish you hadn't come from a family like that. It must have been hard to admit to being human... sorry. I can't help myself.. Got to get a few jibes in don't I? Well I have to go.

Stay safe. Don't let them get you just because of what your father is. The Death Eaters are everywhere, remember that.

Harry

Draco looked at his bit of parchment, wrote a bit more on the end and tied it to Hedwigs leg. He opened the window and let her go.

He had crossed over. Finally admitted that the dark side was the wrong side. Lord Voldemort didn't care about him or any of his other followers. Thank god Harry had helped him see that.

A bushy haired girl is standing in the charms corridor at Hogwarts. She is talked to a tall boy with red hair. They look up at him and smile. "Hi Draco, how are you?" They say... and he smiles back and joins the group. They'll be friends forever, he thinks, and joins in the conversation.

The tears were his mother's, when he told her he was leaving. The noise was Harry and Ron outside, getting his things into the car. And there was yelling too. It was his father. Bellowing at him, saying he'd never regret it...

Draco awoke with a start.

"Jesus! What a weird dream......................."

He lay there for a minute or two then sat bolt up right.

"I was friends with Harry potter. HARRY FREAKING POTTER. No bloody way. And leave the dark side? Was he INSANE? Voldemort would KILL him if he even thought about it!

Draco rolled over and went back to sleep, his dreams were normal.....

A few hours away, the dark lord sat with a smile on his face.

"Well, well, well young mister Malfoy. They always say that dreams are our subconscious. Telling us what we really want. How very odd......." He began to laugh. "Fool! He will never escape me..."
