*NOTE * Same story on different ff.net account. See my profile.
*Note* This was supposed to be a 1-chap song fic, but the muse kinda changed. I dunno where the story's gonna go coz I'm just making it up along the way. Plz R/R. Feel free to feed me ideas. I suck at writing but I'll try my best to do my first ever multi-chap fic. I'll stop if I don't get enough review, coz there's no point straining my brain if no one ever even notices it, let alone appreciating it.
*Disclaimer* Don't own anything. So don't sue! BtVS belongs to Joss the Almighty and his pals. Matchbox Twenty belongs to Matchbox Twenty. Their song belongs to them. I'm just taking a stroll in their little world. No harm intended.

"OK. Here's a new song. A lot of people have asked who it is about. Well, believe it or not, the song's inspired by a person many of us know quite a bit about, but doesn't even know we exist." The song's writer and lead singer introduced the next tune.
"Yeah, come to think about it, it's actually kinda cool. Anyways, this is how it goes." The drummer cued the start of their next performance.
Cheers filled the pub as the first chord was struck by the guitarist on stage. The crowd roared in excitement. In a corner away from the action stood a girl. She pressed the RECORD button on her walkman before she went in and joined in with her friends. That's right, she was me.
Yes I am
I hope you think you beat me
Hope I start talking crazy before you understand me
Are we through
You think that I'm beneath you but you like the things that I do
Wrap em up and take em with you
I'm alright
Hope I can sleep for one night
If not to cool my insides, maybe to calm my backside
Rain on me
I got a weakness in m, I think that weakness feeds me
I don't think you think you need me
Sunshine, you're the best time I ever, ever had
But I think I made you feel bad
A black fly on your necktie time after time
But when the sun starts sinking on your beautiful soul
Make you cry, cry baby, make you feel so cold
Don't you know it's alright
Sometimes you just got to show how you feel
Cause that's you baby, hell, you're so real
Run this round in your head like you don't know what's on the inside
You don't know me too well, you ain't seen my bad side
Shame on me, shame on the things that I be
If you could complicate me, if you could get inside me
Sometimes, you're the best time I've ever, ever known
A pretty girl with a wicked smile on
But I've cried for the last time, something just don't feel right
But when the sun starts sinking on your beautiful soul
Make you cry, cry baby, make you feel so cold
Don't you know it's alright
Sometimes you just got to show how you feel
Cause that's you baby, hell, you're so real
You always know just who you are
You never needed someone else to realize yourself
How when the sun starts sinking on your beautiful soul
Make you cry, cry baby, make you feel so cold
Don't you know it's alright
Sometimes you just got to show how you feel
Cause that's you baby, hell, you're so real
Yeah baby, you're so real
Yeah baby, you're so real
So real, so real
Oh god, yeah, yeah, yeah
Applause and cheers filled the air one more time as the popular band finished their song. They then thanked the audience for showing up, waved them goodbye and headed backstage. Some fans went after the band, but most of them just headed back for another drink.
