Title: Shotgun Wedding

Summary: Buffy xover! Sam warned him about a million times but Dean never listened.

A/N: This is a response to a plot bunny from galewinchester.

Sam looked at his brother, at the shotgun wielding blonde, and then back at his brother. He resisted the urge to say, "I told you so."

But he did – tell him so, that is. He told him about a million times since the girlfriend-scare, when Sam heard one of Dean's friends-with-benefits say that she was 'late'.

He told him so, but as usual, the idiot didn't listen.

"Spike's not really gonna' shoot him, is he?" Sam asked.

Willow gave him a comforting smile. "He'll put it down after Dean says 'I do'." She fidgeted. "Well, I think so."

"And Giles is gonna' put the crossbow down?"

"Um…yeah?"

"And Xander's gonna' put the stake away?"

"You saw that, huh?"

"And Buffy's not gonna' punch him again?"

"…not hard."

"And you're not gonna' turn him into a frog or anything…right?"

Willow jumped in excitement. "Ooh, ooh, I know this one for sure. I won't." She looked delighted that she could give him the right answer.

Sam stared at her.

No, Dean couldn't impregnate the million or so Average Jane's he slept with for years. That would be too easy. His 'little friend' was laying in wait for this one. This particular one, who – yeah, nice and all but still – had the most psychotic family in existence.

And that included his.

The preacher was finishing off. "Do you, Dean Winchester, take Dawn Summers, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, till death do you part?"

Sam snorted. Till death do you part; that sounded about right.

Dean glanced at the shotgun and gulped. He looked at Dawn and then at her lightly bulging stomach. His face relaxed into a smile. "I do."

"Then, by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Sam fidgeted. Spike wasn't lowering that shotgun.

Dean bent down to kiss her and something else occurred.

Sam nudged Willow. "Is now the time to tell you guys that we're wanted in all fifty states?"

She stared at him.

Sam bristled. Come on! They had a vampire, a witch, and a slayer in their 'family'. He and Dean were so not the weird ones here!
