Tony DiNozzo has had a hard time concentrating on anything lately with his girlfriend moving in with him and his daughter.

His daughter. One of the loves of his life.

People have told him from the beginning that children are naturally always curious. And so far, Tony hasn't seen any evidence of that in Katharine. In fact, Kit is a very content and happy little girl.

And as any proud father would, he dreams of the day that he gets to see her in a cap and gown or in a white dress getting ready to walk down the aisle. He can even see her making a career for her self and raising a family.

But for now, she is a tiny, fragile first grader just getting off the bus from school.

He has taken the day off; it is Kit's sixth birthday. And as she reports in to him on her day at school, much as he did to his father during cocktail hour as a child, he slips back into his earlier reverie.

"Daddy? Did you hear me?" she asks.

Tony snaps out of it and looks at Kit.

"Ms. Hannigan told me to ask you: Where do babies come from?"

And though his dreams are not far off, she still has much to learn.
