The concrete that I was laying on didn't offer much support for me, instead offering a cool negligence to me, not willing to change shape for me. I didn't know why but... I liked that about concrete, how it never changed for anything that wasn't stronger than it, and I, was far weaker than the concrete. I had a lot of questions, mostly being about how I got here.

I stared up to the sky, its portrait of a powdery grey basked over my eyes, the sky becoming the only thing I could see.

"Fuuuhhhh...", I rolled over as my stomach started to turn over itself in an attempt to expunge what I had put into it. The alcohol never did seem to find a good place with me.

Little did I know what I was rolling into was a puddle.

The biting cold water bombarded my face, sending shivers into my bones.

I shot my head up, sending bits of the horribly cold liquid flying everywhere.

That's when I remembered why I was here, I was running. I found it fitting that I would be running and then forget it.

I realized that I had no choice but to go back, I wiped my hand down my face, smearing the muck from the puddle further across my face.

I didn't want to go back, not that place, I've already spent 4 years there, I should be allowed to be free now.

But I k ew arguing was pointless, I got up, wiped off as much of the puddle off of me as possible and headed back, now that I was up, the buildings around me looked a lot more familiar.

Clenching my stomach as best I could, I began the walk home.

I know that was pretty damn short but I plan on continuing this story into a larger thing, but the main reason this was so short was that I realized that I wasn't really writing all that much and I was scared that my writing was getting worse, and that the only way I could find out if that was true is by uploading this so...sorry if this sucked.
