Author's Note: This is my first story, so it might be a little bad. I don't own anything in this story except The Ghost of Camp Jupiter herself, that's my character. Everything else belongs to Rick Riordan.

The Ghost of Camp Jupiter

Campers from Camp Jupiter sat in the couches at the mess hall. There was no food out. Why? The Greek demigods had decided to stay for a few days before traveling to Greece, and they had brought a new tradition to Camp Jupiter: stories around the bonfire. There was no bonfire, but the demigods still planned to tell a story.

Hazel Levesque, thirteen, and Leo Valdez, fifteen, stepped forward to tell their ghost story.

"Hey, everybody!" Leo called out. "You ready for a ghost story?"

Most campers nodded, and a few called out "Yes."

"Alright!" Leo and Hazel began to tell the story.

"Not too long ago, a girl arrived at camp." Hazel began. "She was only ten years old-" "And a daughter of Vulcan!" Leo put in. "Yes, that." Hazel continued. "You guys all know my brother Nico, right? Well, around the time Nico started coming around, she was twelve. Nico and the girl were friends, just normal friends. Nico had someone to keep him company."

Hazel paused for a moment. "When the Twelfth Legion attacked Mount Othrys, Nico fought with us for a bit. He got hold of a hellhound and rode it like it was a bull. Unfortunately, he didn't know it, but as he was riding the monster, he ran over the girl. By accident, of course. The girl promised herself she wouldn't ride another animal in her life when she recovered. She went to get up but couldn't, and her spirit left her body to rejoin the fight once she passed away. The poor girl became a Lar."

Leo continued. "The daughter of Vulcan now haunts the country, looking for revenge on Mr. Di Angelo-ow! And why can't I call him that?"

A girl smacked him." 'Cause the jerk's not married." The girl seemed to hate him. She frowned at Nico's name.

Oh, and she was transparent.

"It's the ghost of Camp Jupiter!" A camper yelled, and about half the audience ran. The girl snickered. "Thanks, guys, for telling them that. I deserve more respect, out of fear or not, I don't care."

Hazel smiled and the ghost girl looked at the remaining crowd. "Now, if you'll excuse me, the ghost of Camp Jupiter needs to kick a Lar's butt. See ya around, I guess." She disappeared and Reyna, who was still in the crowd, smiled.

"Oh, Siesie." She muttered. "What an interesting person she is."
