A/N: Nay! This is a one-shot Told from Cloud's Pov. Angsty. I think. Well, please review!
I glanced around the cell the blue God kept me in. Iron bars and stone walls to keep you from humanity. It was always dark, but I suppose that is where my soul lies.
It's just like prison.
So it had been true, when he said that my friend's had forgotten. They had forgotten all about me, all about our friendships from before our world fell. When he told me they had all moved on and found love, my walls came crashing down. Just like Hallow Bastion.
Cold and dark. What else should I expect?
Everything from then on went down hill. Even further than it had been before. I was no longer an emotionless fighter who fought for a cause. I was a bitter and angry. Betrayal was what drove me to fight, the fire that ravaged in my heart thawed the ice in my veins, I wasn't cold. I was heated with hatred. All people feared me, those who thought of me as weak before now backed away when they saw me.
It's dark again.
But now, as I sit in this cell the ice that was in my heart is returning. The glare that had once been fixed on my face is gone and my emotionless mask is back. I no longer hate them, but myself for making this choice. I realized that I did nothing to get them back, and that they moved on because they thought I was dead. I did nothing to return to them, and now I was suffering.
And I'm still alone.
But I am not one to wallow in sadness, nor care. So I sit here and just stare at the wall, my expression blank and uncaring. Just like the world around me. It's a sick world where I live, sick and heartless and all I can do is congratulate myself for bringing it upon me. What a small world this is.
What more did I expect?
"Strife!" The guard's voice echoed through the cell and I cast a brief glance over my shoulder. I raised my eyebrow, silently asking him what he wanted, "It's time." I nodded and stood, walking purposefully and steadily towards the entrance of the cell. The guard slammed the door shut and walked beside me.
When we arrived at our destination I was fairly surprised to see Hades at the gates waiting for me, his death dog growling and snarling behind him. He had a pleased smile on his face and his eyes glinted with superiority. He knew he had won. The enormous iron gates slowly glided open, making way for me. A dark cloud hung above us and everything within sight was dead. I took it in without much care, this was my home now.
Hades smug voice rang out to me, welcoming me to my new home. I looked up at him and with an ironic smirk greeted him.
So this is hell.
A/N: Well, here it is for you. Not very well written I know, was written rather quickly. Please review.
