Author's Note: Burning buildings and people trampling each other is something that occurs and is taught to young kids to make them remember to escape in an orderly fashion. The name of the offender and the village is omitted on purpose.
Summary: Just another night of death and destruction. Another village set ablaze through the works of an individual. When will they learn?

Eye of the Inferno
The sky has been set ablaze by the fires of an unnatural dawn. Every single person in the village has been awakened to witness this revelation. They proclaim their awe. Behold! My masterpiece. They love it so. Their voices cry out in a symphony, like wild cheers of praise, muffling the roaring flames and into the still night. Oh, how they rejoice to be part of this unforgettable moment. Listen! Listen! Their songs ring loud. Such music, such beauty, such chaos. Sweet, sweet chaos.
Foolish men scattering blindly about like ants in the midst of their flooded colony. So petty they are that they trample each other in attempt to escape and save their pitiful lives. Look at them. In such chaos, where is your humanity now? What do you have to say about your praiseworthy righteousness? Hypocrites. They preach and they practice, but they do not necessarily practice what they preach. And what would they do after my glorious debut? They ignore all the sins they commit. "Never forget." But they forget. That is to be expected from these mindless mortals, of course. With time my work will be forgotten like all artists of the past and their marvellous creations. Perhaps they will unearth it one day…
This glorious night: Whatever shall they call it? I hope it will be worthy. This day should not be forgotten. The dancing embers should never be forgotten. They're beautiful. They paint the skies in colours of daybreak and filter the moon red.
My beautiful, beautiful masterpiece. Don't you just love it? Run, scream, try smothering out the blazes that climb ever higher. Your tortured crescendos fill me with a rush making the blood in my veins pound faster and faster still. Wondrous destruction, how you make my heart sing.
Tonight. Tonight is a night to be remembered. A night of wildfire sweeping up the people's breaths. Every single one of them screaming my name.
