Lorelai,Rory,April,Luke and unborn baby to be are all sitting in the diner the morning that Rory has to leave for Iowa before her cab get's there and she has to leave for the airport and is getting tenser by the minute and Luke gently put;s his hand on her's and rub's it for a minute
''calm...calm down sweetie your going to do great!'' he tell's her
''yea I know but I just hate eevryone saying that because I'm not because I'm not perfect what if I'm a terrible journalist and I'm so trying to remain calm so I don;t lose it and upset mom even more before I even have to leave I am like really nervous like panick attack nervous.'' Rory tell's him
Lorelai start's to tear up during this intense time during her pregnancy when her hormones are all making her emotional and is watching her daughter grow apart from her knowing that Rory has to leave in just a little bit for who know's how long before she will be back and feel's like she is being torn apart from her daughter and feel's them getting further away for the moment she is sitting there and tries to focus on her food and not Rory leaving so she won't get as/so upset before Rory even leaves.
''so where are you going?'' April asks her
''oh um Iowa.'' Rory tell's her
''never been there but I bet it suck's.'' April says
April!'' Luke says
''sorry I bet that probably wasn't the best thing to say right now.'' she says
''Mom?'' Rory question's her in an upset tone
''what I'm okay sweetie.'' she says and tries to smile and rub's Rory's thigh
''so how are you feeling hunnie?'' Luke asks her and rub's Lorelai's back
''oh I'm doing okay for right now dad.'' she lies and half smiles
''so do you know whatthe sex of the baby is yet?'' April asks them
''oh no we want to wait and find out and be surprised when it is born but I totally think that it's a boy.'' Lorelai tell's her
