A/N: This was a Destiel poem from a year or so ago I found while digging through my drive. Yes, it may just be a summary of 4x01, but I was impressed with myself. This is my first work on here, so take it easy please. Please review letting me know if you would like me to continue writing these.
Lazarus Rising
A Poem by Keira Willow
Falling
Down
Held by a claw
Of evil
Descending into the depths
Of perdition
The tortured souls' screams
Echo in the cavernous flames
You enter a room
Where you start your first day
Of eternal punishment
Time is nonexistent here
Or at least altered
Days are months
Months are years
Years are centuries
All filled of pain
Until you feel a change
Whispers throughout Hell
Uneasiness rising
And a force so great
You black out into
Nothingness
A hand on your shoulder
Burning a stigma into your biceps
Unless, perhaps, it's a mark of territory?
The contrast of the heat and then nothingness
Is so clear it almost drags you to the surface
Almost
You open your eyes
A cedar smell strikes you in the dark
You can't see
But you can feel the box around you
A coffin
Digging your way out
You feel desperate
Clinging to resurrection
You see the fallen trees as an omen
Wondering why,
And how
You are alive once more
