A/N: Ok, this is a story I just found. I'd started writing it with my friend. Anyway, she had written the prologue (this chapter) and I'd started writing more, planning to give the notebook we were using back to her. But then I had to go to a different school, and the next time I saw her was for about 5 mins before she had to leave. sad

Anyways. This is a story about Kakashi and a character I made up. Rest assured, the character I made up ISN'T based off of me, I DID NOT copy this idea purposely if you think I did, and there will be more than just the Kakashi/OC coupling. (which reminds me, that if you dislike slash, this fic is not for you.)

So...yea. Tell me what you think please? I've already gotten a few chapters written, so if you like it, tell me and I'll post them up.

High about the outskirts of Konohagakure, a lone creature soared gracefully above the clouds, with a lean, serine body that glowed almost unnatural bluish silver. Suddenly, as if out of nowhere, a black arrow pierced its side. The great creature faltered, then fell, roaring in anguish as it plummeted towards the earth at a sickening pace.

Meanwhile in Konohagakure…

"NARUTO! I told you not to eat more than 2 BOWLS!" Hatake Kakashi glared down at his pupil.

"But Sensei, you can't actually expect me to eat that little!"

"Fine then! Next time, YOU can pay! And don't give me that look!"

The young ninja had begun to pout at the mention of the word 'pay'. Naruto was spared further lecture as screams erupted outside, followed by a soul-wrenching roar. The two ninja ran outside the ramen bar just in time to see a strange creature crash-land into a nearby building.

"It's a dragon…," Naruto breathed in awe.

"Get back! All of you, GET BACK!" Tsunade, Konoha's Hokage, bellowed at the crowd. Kakashi ran up to confer with the Hokage.

"Kakashi, good, you're here. Look, I need you to do something. There's an arrow stuck in this dragon's side, but we can't seem to remove it. Only someone with a Sharingan can. But be careful. Something's not right about this creature, aside from the fact that it's a dragon,"

Nodding, Kakashi lifted his leaf-band, revealing his Sharingan. Walking over to the slowly writhing dragon, he placed a firm grip on the giant black arrow protruding from its side. He slowly pulled it out while chanting an unknown jutsu of some sort under his breath.

Suddenly, a blinding burst of light exploded from the dragon. When everyone could open their eyes, the dragon was gone. Instead, a young woman stood in front of Kakashi, wearing nothing but a peculiar necklace, and bleeding heavily on her left side. Slowly, she looked up at Kakashi.

"Thank…you…," she whispered in a voice so low that only Kakashi could hear. That said, she collapsed in front of a speechless Kakashi…
