Prologue: Destiny is Reborn
Shinji Ikari, son of Gendo and Yui Ikari, was 15 years old pilot of the Artificial Humanoid Fighting Machine known as Evangelion. Shinji leaned into the soft chair that was inside a long cylinder object called an entry plug. He heard a voice that he once heard when he was young before his life changed drastically, the voice was of his biological mother who was lost to him in a accident that he chose to bury deep within his sub-conscience. "My dear Shinji how much I wish I could hold you in my arms again. But you need to do something that will make u happier than I ever could. I am going to send you back in time, when this all started for you, and you will remember everything that happened, and so you can change what happened to humanity. Shinji could feel the presence of his mother leave around him and suddenly a flash of light flashed through out the entry plug and entered his own body, he had to close his eyes to shield them from the light.
Shinji could hear a few chirping bird as they seemed very agitated, he just then realized that he was holding a light green public phone that told him in a monotone voice recording that there was a state of emergency and that he needed to go to the nearest shelter. Flashes of memories suddenly plagued him with the attack of the Mass Production Evangelions and when Lilith appeared. He stared at the phone as the realization hit him like a ton of bricks, he was back when he first met Misato Katsuragi , head of tactical operations and Shinji's guardian. 'I can change everything, my life, my goals, and I can change those whose lives where shattered by project E, I have a purpose now!' thought Shinji.
