Angel Dust
I left without warning,
You cried without weeping,
You're all alone,
I'm there when you're sleeping.
My every dream,
I hold you close,
And it may seem,
I'm like your ghost.
Your body so warm and mine like snow,
I want to hold you beside me,
And never let go.
When I'm dreaming,
I kiss you,
I hold you,
Then you say, "I do."
I vow to be yours,
To cherish,
To hold,
And to be together forever,
I'll watch you grow old.
And after all our years of love and laughter,
The moments move by,
Faster and faster.
Your life shortening by every given day,
For I didn't steal your soul,
Your life I did save.
I will never know what becomes of you, I ruined your life, I pray you be happy,
My Angel,
My Love,
For I have left you alone,
Your life will be better,
Without this man of stone.
For this I am sorry.
I never meant to be greedy,
This hole in my heart is now scarring.
Share your life with a man,
With his skin so warm,
In the midst of a winter storm,
He'll hold you tight to his side,
You'll gaze at him,
And this thought I will bide,
My dear Bella,
Find one that will be healthy,
Not that Jacob fella.
Someone strong and wealthy,
That can care for you.
Forget me, My Love,
Throw me away,
My life will be ended when your wedding bells ring,
Although it will hurt you, and cause a strong sting,
I'm nothing to you but a distant memory,
I'm just a filthy page,
in a horrid story.
To me, You were my angel,
You have left a world of history.
You will never leave my thoughts,
But I'm your disease that you can't force away with shots.
Now all I have left is the angel dust,
Your love and lust,
I can not keep.
But the angel dust still makes me weep.
My love for you will never die,
So I guess,
My Love,
This is goodbye.
