Caught in this trance for eternity
Never bleeding, yet always in pain
Sand shields me from love
Alone is how I was meant to be
But I cannot shake this feeling
This feeling that is so small yet so consuming
A feeling that I shouldn't have to suffer this way that I should be able to love
That I should be able to find someone who shares my pain
Someone I can trust not to betray me
Not to try to kill me
Like all those I thought I could trust before
Someone as alone as me
Who's felt so much pain
And that leave me wondering
Is there such a person who could love me?
