Hi! I'm a big fan of writing so, this is my fifth story. Hope you'll like it!
Kluke's POV
"Hey, guys! I found the Roommate Board!" I shouted while waving my arm in the air so they could see me. I was in front of a board that had the roommate list.
"You found it?" Bouquet asked when all of them reached me. I nodded and pointed to the board. A lot of other kids were around it so it was hard to see. I got here in time so I got a spot for me and my friends. We looked at the list and we found our names at the top of the list.

"Darn! I didn't get any girls, maro!" I heard Marumaro complain.
"The thing that's bugging me is 'Why did they have to make it mixed genders'!" Shu complain.
"Sahlia! You better not do anything to my Darling!" Bouquet shouted while pointing her finger at Sahlia.
"I'm not like you, Bouquet! I'm not the one who keeps hugging him!" Sahlia said.
"Ok! Break it up!" Jiro said while pushing their heads apart. "If you two keep fighting like this, Zola's going to expel you from this school." He continued.
"We're supposed to call her 'Headmistress Zola', right?" Linda asked.
"Yup. I guess we can't call her 'Zola' anymore." I told her.
I looked over to Noi and he was having a funny expression on his face. He looked shock. Then I remembered that his roommate is Linda-the girl that he has a crush on-.
"Noi? Are you ok?" Linda asked while shaking his shoulder.
"I-I-I-I'm fine!" Noi stuttered when he finally snapped out of it.
"It's great that we're roommates, right? We can get to know each other better." Linda told him. Noi's face turned completely red and I was trying my hardest not to laugh.
"Well, I'm going to my room, guys. I want to put away my stuff. We'll meet in class later, ok?" I told them while walking away from them.
"Sure! We'll see you later then!" Bouquet said. They all waved their hands goodbye to me and I did the same. I continued to walk to room number 5. Then, it hit me.
"I wonder who my roommate is. I never met someone who's called 'Andropov'." I said to myself while walking and pulling my suitcase by the handle.
While I was finding my room, I was looking around the school. The others and I are in boarding school. Zola's the one who gave us a free pass since we often helped the King with fighting and such. We're here so we can increase our magic powers. Zola became the school's headmistress by the King's orders. It's amazing how big this place is. It's as big as the castle in Jibral. Maybe even bigger!
It was beautiful here. There was a big garden in the middle of campus and it was gorgeous. There was a big fountain in the garden. The building was huge! A lot of kids were here and plus, this is the building that King Jibral himself loved. This building used to be an orphanage where the King lived in. Since the orphanage got demolished, and since the King became the king of Jibral, this place was made into this boarding school. Hundreds of rooms and classes, all of these are here because of the king.
"Found it!" I said while looking at the door that says 'R5'. I opened the door and went in. I saw a boy with baby blue hair and sapphire eyes sitting on one of the beds. He was just sitting there and he looked like he was tired from walking. He looked over to me and I just closed the door unconsciously.
"Hi. Are you Andropov?" I said.
"Yes. Does that mean that you're Kluke?" he said.
I nodded and he got up from the bed. He reached me and offered is hand to me. I accepted his hand I shook it. "Nice to meet you." He said.
"It's nice to meet you, too." I replied.
I walked over to my bed and I sat on it. The bed was soft and the room was big. There was a wall clock and there were two desks in the room. One in the left and one in the right. There was a small rug next to my bed and his bed. There were two closets on each side as well. And there were two windows on each side, too. There was still some other stuff in the room. Basically, the room had two things for each of us. I got the left side of the room and Andropov got the other side.
I looked around again and I saw two doors on each side. Curiosity took over me and I walked over to the door that was on my side. I opened it and I saw that it was just the bathroom. There was a shower and I sink and a towel hanger and I mirror on top of the sink.
I closed the door and sat back down on my bed. I unzipped my suitcase and took out my clothes. I put them in my closet and I saw Andropov doing the same thing. I was curious about what Andropov was like. I hope he's not a pervert like Marumaro. But, he doesn't look like it. He looks nice and if he got accepted here, that means he's smart in spells and magic. I can't say much for Shu though. He just got lucky when the king gave him a chance in this school.
"So, were going to be roommates, right?" I heard Andropov say, trying to break the silence.
"Yes. I'm still not sure why Zola made it this way." I told him without looking at him.
"Zola? Do you mean the headmistress?"
"Oops. I forgot that I have to call her 'headmistress Zola'. Well, yes. She's my friend. I've known her for quite awhile actually."
"You're friends with the headmistress? Does that mean that you get special treatment?"
"Of course not. Zo- I mean headmistress Zola doesn't give anyone special treatment. She's not the kind of person to do that. So don't worry about it."
I heard him mutter an 'oh' and everything went silent again. I don't know why but, the silence was quite comfortable.
I finally finished putting away my stuff and I shoved my suitcase under my bed. I sat down on my bed and I looked over to Andropov. He looked over to me as well and my face turned a bit pink. We wanted to talk but a knock on the door interrupted us. We both looked over to the door and it opened. Zola came in and she was holding some clothes.
"Sorry, am I interrupting something?" she asked.
"N-No. It's alright. So… are those our uniforms?" I asked while pointing at the clothes.
"Yes." She answered shortly.
Andropov and I stood up and we took our uniforms. Zola went out again. We both looked at each other for a few seconds. We eventually went to the bathroom to change. After I changed into my uniform, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. My hair was tied in my usually ponytail. I pulled my ribbon and my hair was down now.
"Well, maybe for today."I murmured.
I walked out of the bathroom and placed my ribbon on my table that had a mirror on it. I looked at myself again in the mirror. I didn't look half bad. I picked up a brush and I brushed my hair. I looked over to Andropov's door and he still hasn't come out yet. I finished brushing my hair and I sat down on my bed. I was waiting for Andropov to finish so we could go to class together.
I looked down to my wardrobe and the uniform was a bit plain. I was wearing a white shirt with buttons. I wore a knee-length black skirt. I was wearing black shoes and white socks. It looked plain but it suits me so I thought that it looked cute on me.
The door of Andropov's bathroom opened and he came out. He didn't look bad either. The uniform was the same like mine except, he was wearing long black pants. He looked at me and smiled. He walked over to me and I stood up. We both walked out the door together. When we went out, there was an announcement from Zola.
"To all students in Minano academy, please line up in the school garden. The teachers and I will be there momentarily. We will decide your element and it will also decide your class." Zola said.
We understood and went to the garden. It was huge so it was enough for all the students. We all waited for Zola and the other teachers in the garden.
