"The chair! Hit him with the chair!" Sarah yelled.
Becker looked at her, not trying to hide the astonishment on his face. They were in the ARC at night and only a few people were left sorting things out for the next day. Becker had wandered into the staff break room to see what was happening on the news and was surprised to find Sarah watching a wrestling match on the television and gleefully cheering along.
"When did you start watching wrestling?" he asked, thinking of all the times he had tried and failed to get her to watch sports with him.
"A while ago, after we broke up," she answered, not taking her eyes off the screen.
"You do know wrestling's not real, right?"
She looked him straight in the eye. "I'm not an idiot, I know some of the moves are fake, but some are real, like that," she pointed at the screen. "Watch this guy jump off the top of the ladder onto the guy lying on the table."
They watched the wrestler do exactly what she said.
"See, that was real," Sarah said triumphantly, "I love watching TLC matches."
Becker gave her a confused look.
"Tables, Ladders and Chairs," she explained.
Becker frowned as he realised something. "Lester had all the entertainment channels locked out, so how did you manage to get that?"
Sarah shrugged her shoulders. "Just lucky I guess."
Becker couldn't help suspecting her expertise with technology had had something to do with it. "I should report you to Lester."
"You could do that," Sarah agreed. "Or you could join me."
Becker considered it. Technically he had been off duty for fifteen minutes already.
"Just one match," he relented.
Sarah grinned and shuffled along the couch for him to sit down.
"If anyone asks, you blackmailed me into it."
"Of course," she agreed.
He grabbed a handful of popcorn from the bowl on the table in front of them and settled down next to her.
