"Wheatly, can you please go wake up the other test subject?" An orange-haired girl said calmly, despite having just been told that they were having and emergcy evacuation. " Because if we're going to be able to get out of here, we're going to need her." The blue-haired man, Wheatly, beside her snapped out of it and nodded.
" I'll be off then." He said, walking twords the door quickly. That place always creeped him out because of what was in it.
" Good. I'll stay here until you get back." She walked to the moniter to make sure he didn't screw this up. If he does screw up we're in big trouble. I hope he remembers not to pull any levers in the lift. She thought, shuddering at the memoies. She did not want to reapeat any of that. " Oh. I should check on that room." she said to herself, walking to another door. She paused at a picture of her, Wheatly and another girl in a group hug. She glanced at it then left the room.
~Time skip to a few minutes later~
The girl entered a large courtyard filled with mechanical parts and in the center a doll-like girl with long white-hair and holes in her body. She walked by the wall for a bit, making sure nothing was still working. She froze when she heard an automated voice say " Powerup complete."
" Oh shi-" She was cut off by wires weaving their way to the girl, also known as GLaDOS, in the middle of the room. " Oh no. nonononononono." She muttered, knowing that she couldn't stop what came next. The powering up of her.
" Hello!" She turned away from GLaDOS to look at Wheatly. Wait. When did he get here? She asked herself then saw Chell next to him, looking completly confused. She resisted the urge to yell at Wheatly, as that would only make things worse.
" Oh... It's you." She turned to the now-animated GLaDOS when she heard this. " It's been a while. How have you been?"
" You KNOW her?" Wheatly voiced her thoughts exactly. She stopped listening when she spotted two to three mechanical claws slowly reach down and pick up Chell and Wheatly. She paniced when she saw Wheatly being crushed. She ignored her earlier thoughts of staying hidden and shouted out at the same time Wheatly cried out in pain. "WHEATLY!" GLaDOS tossed Wheatly into an opening in the wall and focused on Chell.
" I will say, though, that since you went to all the trouble of waking me up, you must really, really love to test." GLaDOS said, carrying Chell to a now open metal tube. As she was about to drop Chell, the orange-haired girl shouted as she ran forward " CHELL!" GLaDOS smirked then dropped Chell and turned to face her. " Now, what to do with you..." She said " Oh! I know! I can force you to watch the testing from inside the walls." As she said this, the third claw reached down and grabbed the girls arm.
" AH!" She shouted, almost hearing the cracking in her arm.
" Oh sorry." GLaDOS said sarcastically and coldly. The claw released the girls am, only to clamp aound her waist. GLaDOS threw her into a differnet hole in the wall and laughed. " I honestly thought you knew better Wendy." That was the last thing Wendy heard before she blacked out.
