Darby the Wayward Werewolf
By Avifor Crucio
On a warm Mid Year morning Darby the Werewolf woke up feeling hungry. His stomach growled louder than he could. So he decided to visit the Skingrad Sheep Market
for a bite to eat. Only his cave was so far away from the market and he was so hungry.
"I can't walk all that way on an empty stomach!" Cried Darby. As he said this a cart rolled by driven by a plump elf.
"I know!" Darby exclaimed, "I'll eat that fat little elf, and then take his cart to the market." So he did just that, and he was on his way to the market, but as Darby rolled
along he felt his stomach growl again.
"I can't just keep rolling along on an empty stomach!" Cried Darby. As he said this he saw an adventurer enter an Alyeid ruin."
"I know!" Darby exclaimed, "I'll go into that ruin and eat that burly adventurer. Then I'll get a lich to teleport me to the market." So he did just that. When he found the
lich he asked very politely,"
"Mister Lich, please can you teleport me to the Skingrad Sheep Market?" The lich thought on this for a moment and replied,"
"I can do this for you but I need two varla stones, and my kingdom only has one. Go to the next kingdom over and bring back their varla stone and I shall teleport you."
But then Darby felt his stomach growl again.
"I can't go through that ruin on an empty stomach!" Darby cried, "I know, I'll eat you and then ask the troll that lives in the forest if he can throw me to the market."
"What?!" cried the lich when Darby ate him up too. Darby's stomach was starting to swell, but he still felt hungry. He dragged himself over to the forest where the troll
was who was much bigger than Darby and asked,
"Mister Troll can you throw me to the Skingrad Sheep Market?"
"I sure can", replied the troll, "hop into my arms and I'll throw you over the forest and into the Sheep Market." So he did just that. But when Darby climbed into the
troll's armed he heard his stomach growl again.
"That wasn't my stomach!" Cried Darby when the troll ate him up.
