Hey guys I was re-watching Evolution and I wondered what Ultra Magnus was thinking when he was about to get killed by Predaking and I just continued until I couldn't think of anything else to add.

Ultra Magnus was laying on the ground beaten, bruised, and severely damaged with nothing he can do at this time.

'Predaking has just stomped on my hand breaking all of my fingers on my right hand and he is getting the Forge of Solus Prime to finish me with my own weapon. My fellow solider Wheeljack is too weak to fight after being slammed into a cave wall by a mountain. I guess it is my time to join with the well of all sparks I just wish I could see the Autobots win before I have to die.' Ultra Magnus thought to himself

"Its been an honour serving beside you solider." Ultra Magnus spoke his last words to Wheeljack whom he didn't get along with well outside of battle, but when fighting a common foe, are strong working together.

'Here comes Predaking I guess it's time, I just can't believe it.' Ultra Magnus had another thought of disbelief

Predaking snapped the Forge of Solus Prime in half with little effort.

"Prepare to perish." Predaking shouted as he was getting ready to add an Autobot to the Well.

'I guess I can die along with my favourite weapon despite only using it for a few battles.' Ultra Magnus thought to himself once more. As Predaking was delivering the killing blow.

Predaking was about to kill the Autobots Second in Command Ultra Magnus when Optimus prime hit Predaking across the cave.

'Optimus he saved me thank the all spark' Ultra Magnus thought to himself first positive thought for a few hours at that.

"Optimus thank you." Ultra Magnus said before he fell into Stasis and he didn't hear Optimus Prime's response.

Autobot Base

Ultra Magnus opened his optics after being in stasis for an hour, and saw ratchet operating on him. As Ratchet finished sealing the wound Ultra Magnus could only look at his arm and sigh in disbelief.

"Ratchet will take good care of you." Optimus prime said. "Magnus fought like a wrecker." Wheeljack said, Optimus won't admit it but he was in fact proud of Wheeljack for making a comment like that as it will help seal the gap between them.

Optimus, when we spoke earlier, What could be greater then an army?" Ultra Magnus asked "A human concept, one I have learned since coming to earth, family." Optimus replied and Ultra Magnus now knows why Optimus doesn't enforce protocol as much as he does.

The next morning

Ultra Magnus walked into the main part of the base after a recharge. Everyone was asking him how he was doing like they would normally but he wasn't aware of this and he thought that they were being nice to him because of his hand. He continued to answer these question and have more conversations with the team and even jack. But after an hour of talking and stuff he went outside to have some peace and Optimus joined him.

"Ultra Magnus? Is something wrong, I mean everyone is talking to you." Optimus asked as he didn't know what was wrong with his old friend.

"That's the problem I feel like everyone is talking to me know because of my injury and I'm starting to be a liability to everyone." Ultra Magnus explained

"On the Contrary old friend everyone is talking to you because they starting accept you, and you are not a liability you will be back in the field soon old friend and please Ultra Magnus get to know the kids more so they will start to like you and such." Optimus explained with a smile on his face the whole time.

As Optimus and Ultra Magnus walked back to the hanger Ultra Magnus was thinking about the many words of wisdom Optimus had been giving him lately, and he would applaud but he cannot anymore.
