A smile flickered over his face as brown eyes caught his just for the briefest of moments.
The smile quickly turned to a smirk as he saw the frown that appeared on her face when she noticed his gaze. Hurrying away from him she continued on her journey over to the 'trio'.

'Fuckin wankers' he thought as he noticed with annoyance that when she finally sat down a 'teeth-showing smile' promptly appeared.
He'd noticed her smiles a lot lately and as crazy as though he knew it was he knew how many there were and exactly what they meant. Frankly, to say that that he was obsessed was just a tad bit understated.
He remembered the first time that he had seen her four years ago. It was just before she

started her first year and she was doing her school shopping when he had purposely bumped into her 'lot' in the bookstore. Just coming down the stairs after having to watch Potter get yet more attention, this time from that pathetic excuse for a man Lockhart, he could see her hair jump from side to side as she shook her with laughter at something Weasel said. All too soon for his liking though that had quickly subsided once she saw who was blocking their path. He made his smart remark and then to his utter surprise found her of all people telling him 'to leave Harry alone'. And what was it that he thought was such a great retort? 'Oh look potter, got yourself a girlfriend?' Even today he was horribly mortified that such a lame remark had come from a Malfoys mouth. Not that he cared much about being a Malfoy but he did mean getting immediate respect from fellow slytherins. To say that the look she gave him was one full of hate wasn't even mildly true, he saw something in her that shock him more then anything had before; hurt, pain and sadness. Sure there was anger and hate but he saw past that and so since that day he vowed to himself that through any means necessary he find out why it was she was hurt. Now must people wouldn't care but he knew that Weasleys while being poor were by far one of the strongest lot of people around so why one showed weakness was enough cause for Draco to become infatuated.
