Summary: Alex/Izzy. Something I typed up last night after the episode. Came to mind after trying to write the next chapter of my fic: "It's A Hard Not Life". It's kinda short...but i like it. RR plz!!!!

She hated it. She hated looking at them and the people in it. Searching through endless magazines just brought tears to her eyes. Looking at TV commercials just brought her into a fit of sobs. Seeing all those happy woman in the expensive dresses made her want to kill someone or something. No not someone, killing someone would just bring back memories. She didn't want memories brought back. She just wanted to cut something open and remove that infected part that was killing them. She wanted someone to cut her open and remove her infected heart and place a new one in the old one's place. Except no one could. No one except one person.
He made all her tears go away. He made those endless sobbing fits stop. He made the dark stormy clouds transform into a bright sunny day. He cut her open and gave her a new heart. A heart that partly belonged to him. He was what she needed. She needed him to replace her broken and infected heart. She was what he needed. He needed her to give him a wake-up call. To let him know why he is on this earth. They needed each other and that was it.
Now she looked through those magazines with a smile. She loved looking at those people and what they were in. She loved all those commercials that brought wonderful fantasies to her nights of endless sleep. She wanted to heal someone and repair them, just as someone had repaired her. She wanted to let a person live another day just as someone let her. She wanted to let people know that it will be okay, just as that one person did her for. That one person who opened her eyes from an endless nightmare. That person who was an ass, but now a gentleman. That one person who was always there for her mentally or physically. That one person she loved since that Mixer. That one person she said "I do" to. That one person was Alex Karev and that one girl was Izzy Stevens.
