Diamonds for the Princess
Chapter-1:
Tyler and I were pouring over my great granny's trunk, when Tabitha, Tyler's twin, suddenly jumped over to us and said," Hey guys, I finally found it!"
We had been searching for a certain document, which, according to my great granny, Sara, was proof that she'd been a princess. 'A real princess, not a pretend one' she stated in her diary, much to my bewilderment, for as far as I knew, she'd always been a princess but her kingdom and authority had been lost when her father had died, and that she never had known of herself being a princess.
This document, which the otherwise careless Tabitha had found and carried over to us carefully, was, as we later realized, of great importance. It did not contain much, only a few words and a poem:
This is Sara. And I now know.
For the generations to come,
For the curse befell to go,
A secret deep in time,
For my descendents to know.
Now, in the wake of death, my own,
I leave by withered hand,
Where resides my hollow horse, there lies,
The treasure of my land.
"See, I wasn't telling a lie! I told you, Granny always told me that there had been a treasure involved."I said, looking at the twins. "Hey, hey alright. Don't you explode now. We believe you, alright?" Tyler said with such an aplogetic expression on his face, that I had to give in. "Fine." I said," This is a quest, then. Who's with me?"
"I sure am. I'm always up for adventure."Tabitha smiled, her blue eyes twinkling. " I am too. I'd follow you anywhere." Tyler looked at me, mischief in his sharp green eyes."Ah, I knew you won't disappoint me!" I returned, giving him an amused smile. We weren't a couple, he was just a freaking flirt!
