A/N Random story time! So, I would have posted a Justin Bieber bashing story on Tuesday, but I felt like bashing Twilight some more. And I was sick. I was procrastinating for the rest of the week. But I'm updating today! I just had to do one on the cake is a lie meme. There might be a sequel to this, who knows!
Peach was walking on the road to her castle, when suddenly, several Koopas attacked her. Luckily, she saw Luigi and Yoshi nearby.
"Hey guys! Stop these Koopas! I'll give you cake tomorrow if you do!"
Luigi and Yoshi, ecstatic about the offer of cake, eagerly stopped the Koopas. It was easy enough, with the combination of Luigi's hammer and Yoshi's egg throwing. After the battle, Peach thanked them.
"Thanks guys! I'll give you the cake tomorrow!"
The next day, Peach was reading a book when someone knocked on her door. She got up and found Luigi and Yoshi standing in front of her room.
"Hi Peach. Where's our cake?"
"What cake?"
"The cake you said you'll give us yesterday."
"Oh. That cake. I was lying."
"You mean the cake was a lie?"
"Yup."
At this point, Yoshi burst into tears. Luigi didn't like it when someone made his buddy cry. Then a plan popped into his head.
"Hey, didn't you say you were scared of squirrels?"
"Yeah."
"Well, we have to show you something really cool at Mushroom Park."
"Okay!"
Peach already seemed to have forgotten the previously asked question as the duo lead her outside.
As they went down, Luigi whispered to Yoshi.
"Go grab some duct tape and a bowl of peanuts and met me at the Nut Tree."
"Okay."
Peach, noticing Yoshi running off, decided to ask Luigi why.
"Where's Yoshi going?"
"He's just grabbing something."
The rest of the trip to Mushroom Park was silent, until they reached the Nut Tree, where Yoshi was waiting.
"So, what is this awesome thing?"
"Well, Peach…"
A few minutes later, Peach found herself duct-taped to the Nut Tree, with peanuts all around her feet. Then she noticed the squirrels starting to swarm…
"Guys? GUYS! You better get back here and help me, I can get you arrested you know!"
Her cries fell on deaf ears, and she started to scream as the squirrels ran all over her feet in a frenzy for the peanuts.
"Hey, we could always buy a cake. I've got some money on me."
A few minutes later, Luigi and Yoshi were sitting on a picnic blanket eating a chocolate cake.
"You know, actually it was a good thing the cake was a lie." Luigi was still on his first slice, being slow with his food.
"Why?"
"Because she could have put something in the cake. Like poison. Or a Time Lord. Or a hedgehog bent on revenge." Luigi shuddered at the thought of the last one.
"You're right, Luigi." After they finished the cake, the pair took a walk past the Nut Tree, not noticing the screaming princess.
