PROLOUGUE
"The two most powerful warriors are patience and time."

A rush of wind gusted across the war torn field. Blood splattered everywhere while pieces of broken metal and bodies littered the ground indicating a massive battle took place. On a branch hidden from sight a cloaked figure watched over the scenery of what had taken place only moments ago.
From the bottom of the hill, birds scoped the area. One birds eyed glared into the eyes of the man dressed in the dark black trench coat above as it circled twice before leaving.
"So it had finally begun my friend." Stated a voice behind the cloaked man.
The bushes parted way as the man came up behind. He wore a thick coat of armour with a sword placed in its sheath. His long white hair floating across the wind, while his arm patted the mans shoulder. In his left arm held a sleeping baby rapped up in a dark navy blanket.
"The child that you hold in your arms, is it not the one the prophecy speaks of?" asked the cloaked man. He began to reach for the child, however it was swiped away by the claws of the white haired man.
"This child is of no concern of yours any longer Hugo. Your task has already been taken care of. Its now time to send this child away for its own protection."
"The child shall be deposed of into the well as we greed upon." said the man. With one swift wipe of the forehead a light burst forward hiding a mark on the top of the child forehead.
"Of course sir." Stated the cloaked figure
The man looked down upon the baby one last time before walking across the warn torn field. The smell of thick blood lingered causing the baby to startle. As quickly as the men could they reached a well. With one final look at the baby, he smiled.
"Child you shall return but when you do it will be at a time when you will be greatly needed." stated the man. The man reached into his pocket of his satchel and with one quick heave threw the baby into the well. A bright light emitted from the light causing the ground to shake. Many of the birds near by scattered away. The light slowly died down and when it, the child was gone.

A woman was sweeping dust off of a stair near a giant tree, when suddenly she looked up at the tree. A tremor and bright light burst out from the well house located on the shrine grounds. A loud cry could be heard coming just mealy seconds after the bright light calmed down and disappear. A wail of that of a baby was left.
"Father come quick, I think it's a child." yelled the woman as she ran towards the crying infant. Kami, have you given me a child to call my own at last? For it seems familiar to a dream I once had.
She looked at the child on the ground and picked the baby up, and whispered "Kagome..."
