TOXIC
In an unexpected turn of events, Bianchi finds herself taking Sawada Tsunayoshi as her apprentice. She didn't know what had hit Reborn when he told her to train this child to be as good as she was, if not even better, in her profession; poison cooking.
A/N: This part is more of a teaser than anything, really : I want to see what kind of feedback I'd get from this. I don't know if anyone has ever tried this one before but I figured I'd try.
It took less than a month for Bianchi to decide that poison cooking wasn't Sawada Tsunayoshi's thing.
Nine out of ten attempts to teach him the ways of creatively merging poison with food ended up quite badly with the child having to seek professional help more than twice in those nine attempts.
Now, before anything else, she'd like to point out several things.
Bianchi had never – ever – considered apprenticeship. She liked working independently – although Reborn was an obvious exception - because some people simply couldn't understand how her mind processed situations. They view her as utterly merciless and almost impulsive at certain times from her questionably and often unreasonale actions. Only Reborn understood why she'd see what she did fit or worthy of being done.
This then led to another point- she had no idea how to teach. Sure, she knew the theory behind it. However, she had no experience. Poison cooking, the ability she was rather infamous for, was self-taught. She worked in the kitchen and experimented with whatever she could find – and that was a lot since she is the daughter of a Mafia boss – and went with it. Time passed and before she knew it, 'Poison Scorpion' became her new name in the eyes of Mafiosi.
Another point that had to be recognized was that Tsuna was an inexperienced child, and so was she in the aspect of looking after children. She had Gokudera for a brother but she barely interacted with him when they used to live under the same roof. In fact, many would attest to Bianchi being plenty traumatizing during their childhood. To reassure her, Reborn had said that Tsuna wasn't particularly rowdy or noisy like every other child. He apparently learned quickly if given the proper method of discipline but that didn't reassure Bianchi. After all, the subject of this entire matter was the inheritor of Vongola Famiglia. Accepting this would mean that she was adhering to one of the greatest responsibilities in life- to shape and mold the child as early as 6 years old to become suitable for the position of the Vongola Decimo.
With all these points considered, Bianchi pondered over her options. Reborn had specifically asked her to train the child in the aspect of food poisoning, but obviously, it just wasn't going to work out. Refusing wasn't even an option at this point.
She was left with one choice. To create another path not meant to refuse or force, but to create one that would best suit the child and his hidden potential.
To teach Sawada Tsunayoshi the arts of poisoning.
7 years later and it had proved to be the best decision she had ever made, for the better of Tsuna's allies and the worst of his enemies.
