The story begins in San Francisco. A large mass is seen moving toward the city. The mass is then revealed to be Godzilla, the King of Monsters. The military is called in to deal with the beast, but is quickly decimated. As Godzilla begins wrecking the city, the superheroes Lazerheart and The Smooch arrive on the scene. Godzilla and the superheroes engage in combat, with neither side being able to best the other. During the battle, an airplane carrying nuclear reactors is struck by lightning, causing a radioactive storm. Godzilla is struck by the radioactive lightning, increasing his power. With this, Godzilla is able to overpower the superheroes and vaporize them with his spiral heat ray. Godzilla roars in triumph and returns to the sea, having completed his mission.
