EDITED VERSION (hopefully no more typos)

Yo! Took me long enough to get something up, eh? Ya. I know. I have a bunch of stories written, I just have to type them up. Sorry! --'

Anyways, my Also first Yami No Matsui fic!

"How do you know?"

"What?"

"How do you know when you're in love?" Tsuzuki asked. Hisoka looked quizzically at the tall, purple-eyed man next to him.

"You just…know…I guess…" he answered awkwardly. Tsuzuki nodded and continued to stare off into space. They where leaning on a cold metal railing, watching the sunset.

"Have you ever been in love?" Tzusuki asked out of the blue.

"Wha-!" Hisoka blushed and started.

"Well?" Hisoka continued to blush, but leaned on the railing again, staring into the blazing sun. Tsuzuki didn't ask again.

"Yes." He answered after a while.

"What?" it was Tsuzuki's turn to be startled. He hadn't expected the boy to answer.

"Yes." Hisoka said again. "But my love didn't love me back. So I looked on from a distance." Tsuzuki could see the pain in the boys eyes, so he nodded and leaned on the railing again.

"You don't have to tell me."

"No. I don't." Hisoka sounded confused. "So why am I telling you this?" Tsuzuki remained silent.

"I guess it was love at first sight." Hisoka continued. "I didn't want to admit it. Not even to myself. But then I finally came to my senses. Is it possible to fall in love with someone you barely know?"

"Yes." Tsuzuki smiled as he looked at the smaller man, but Hisoka wouldn't meet his eyes.

"But they don't love me. Never did. Never will. And I don't have the strength to tell them." Hisoka angrily brushed away tears. It felt good to finally be admitting this to someone, but he had sworn to himself that he would never cry in front of someone like this.

"Yes you do." Tsuzuki said, smiling softly. "You're stronger than you know, Hisoka."

"Eh-" Hisoka looked down blushing scarlet. He picked up his hands, flexing them in uncertainly, before gently laying them on Tsuzuki's arm.

"Tsuzuki, there's something I need to tell you." He looked up into the surprised purple eyes above him. "I-" he took a deep breath. "I, think I love you."

Tsuzuki's eyes widened in surprise. That was unexpected.
