I was sitting on my bed, reading a book when I heard the main doors slam shut and my dad yelling in anger to his horses.

"Mom!" I called placing my book down on the nightstand. The sound of footsteps approaching was the only sound, the door opened and my mom peeked her head inside

"Yes dear?" She asked

"Can I go outside today?" I asked, sighing, my mom stepped inside

"Your dad and I are trying to protect you" she started "You can go outside when you reach 133, that's the deal"

"You know my birthday is today, I am 133" I said smiling proudly

"Well then, let's go tell your dad we will be outside" she said, as she grabbed my hand.

We walked through the halls and into my dad's library.

"Midnight's birthday is today, she's 133" my mom said

"Oh really, and I suppose she can go outside?" My dad asked

"Well that is the deal dear, remember" my mom told him, my dad sighed

"Fine, but only for an hour" he said while reaching in his pocket he then pulled out a gold key and handed it to me. I took it and started to jump up and down.

"Thanks dad!" I said while running over to the locked door leading outside. I stuck the key in the lock and unlocked the door.
