Curses Can Be Broken:

Prologue

Curses, Mummies, Tombs, Egypt! Things such as these had always fascinated Bill Weasley. Ever since he was nine years old, he wanted to be a curse breaker in Egypt! He loved mystery and adventure, and the job would earn a lot of money. Coming from a poor family, that was something that was greatly appreciated.

There was only one problem with Bill's dream: he seemed to be cursed himself. When something goes wrong, he is always around to see it, and when he tries to help, things always seem to get worse. But, ever the optimist, Bill studies hard about different types of curses and tombs that he may one day come to know.

Unfortunately for our red-headed friend here, things go from bad to worse. After a tragic accident that happens to a family member in his fifth year, Bill Weasley vows to never interfere with trouble again, for fear of turning it into something worse than it already is. Somehow, he managed to stick to that vow, and miraculously, things start getting better... for the people around him.

But what happens when Dumbledoor's gone and a new curse starts floating around the school in the form of a certain professor? Bill knows what this curse is, and he knows how to stop it, but he always seems to make things more trouble than they should be. But how can things get much worse when half of Hogwarts is destroyed and his friends and family are in danger? He may be jinxed, and he may be cursed, but right now, Bill Weasley is their only hope!

So, do you think it's a story worth writing? Well, I'll let you read the first chapter before you decide, which should be up in no more than three days. Believe me, the actual story will have MUCH longer chapters. This was just a summary. Review and tell me if you think I should keep going! And have a look at all my works in progress in my profile, which include It's a Twin Thing and The Dragons Keeper. Look for chapter one!
