Having a child should be joyous, but each time it's happened, it has cost me someone dear. My life would be empty without Kevin, but I wish his father were here to see the person he has become. This new life within me will never know his father, either.
There must be something about me. I see how Jack tries to get close. I want to warn him away. Can't he see the danger?
