The kiss seemed to never end. After the return of Neo, Trinity couldn't part with Neo. She loved him so, and it seemed as if Neo didn't. They kept kissing until Neo stopped her.
"I can't do this… My heart belongs to someone else…" Neo had paid the ultimate price to be in the real world. He left his one and only true love. "I know she is just in my heart, and I know she cannot be with me here right now no matter how much I long for it, but I know she is missing me as much as I am her…
"I… I never knew, Neo. You never told me!" Trinity was awfully angry at Neo for brining pain to her, but she loved him so much that she couldn't express her true feelings. She was afraid she would lose their friendship also if she did.
Although she had much to say, she turned away and went to her room. Neo, feeling truly sorry for Trinity, stood there looking at her room's door. After a moment of standing there he turned away. He turned away from her love.
The whole night all he could think of was of his old love. He had felt stupid to leave Trinity, for he did have deep feelings for her, but the love that he once had was more. He wished he could see her face once more, be with her once more, but he knew he couldn't go back. He was now in the real world, and once he was in, he couldn't ever go back. It took a while, but he finally went to sleep.
"Tank, get the EMP ready!" Morpheus had just spotted another squiddie, as he would call it. Neo and Trinity ran into the room, ready for anything. The squiddie stared at them, and Tank fingered the EMP as if ready to push the button, but the squiddie went away. Neo was tired of the squiddies.
"Damnit! I'm sick and tired of these damn things! Who the hell are controlling these things?"
"Neo, these are not being controlled. They are being sent. Agents are sending them, and their orders are to destroy us. The agents don't control them… If they did, we would be dead by now…"
"Morpheus, I want you to send me back into the Matrix. I want to destroy these agents… I destroyed one, right? That means I can destroy the other ones, right?"
"Neo, I'm not sure… If you really want to go, I will have to send in Trinity with you. I will have to stay here. I have to search for new crew members. I'll send you in, Neo, but just be careful."
Trinity and Neo got hooked up and were ready to go to the Matrix. When they were in the loading program, guns came out. Neo and Trinity got ready by getting as many guns as possible, and they were ready to go into the matrix.
They knew they wanted to destroy the agents, they just had one problem: Where were they? They kept searching until they grew pretty tired.
"They're trying to run away from us, Trinity. We have to find them…"
"Before we do anything, Neo, I have to tell you something. Remember when the Oracle told me I would fall in love with the one? Well, yesterday you got me thinking. She never told me that the one would love me back…"
"Look, Trinity, I'm sorry-"
"Neo! Sorry doesn't help! You ruined my life! You took my heart… I loved you, and you didn't love me back. Why? You didn't love me back because of a fantasy girl who will never be here! You bastard, YOU RUINED MY LIFE!!!" There was a silence at first, and then she spoke again.
"For that, you will have to pay." She got a gun out and pointed it at his head. "I'm sorry Neo, but you ruined my life, and now I will have to take yours. Neo was too shocked to move…
