Okay… I'm currently in the middle of writing my first chapter to another story that I am writing but I wanted to put this up here! This has been on my computer for a while so I thought it would be a good idea to put it up! And this is about Hatori and Kana… just in case any one of you guys were wondering!

Through the Pain

We were truly in love weren't we?

I've never before opened up to someone like I did with you.

And after what happened,

I probably won't again.

I didn't know that three little words could make someone feel so incredible,

So important.

I knew that eventually one day I'd have to say goodbye to you,

And you'd be able to forget.

But how is that fair?

We were both hurting

And you got the easy way out.

You got to forget

Leaving me with the constant memory of you

And knowing that there is nothing I could possibly do

To make you remember me.

It was so hard,

Seeing you everyday…

And you didn't know that we had a past together,

That we shared a life together.

You told me that you were sorry that you couldn't protect me…

When I am the one that should be sorry for not protecting you.

Maybe I didn't realize it at the time,

But I do now.

And even though it's a little late,

It's okay.

I realize that spring,

Comes after the snow melts.

And that has made all the difference.
