Leo Chapter 1
"Leo, what is that?" I turned and saw Jason standing in the doorway. I ignored his question, not because I was mean or anything, but simply because I had already told him what seemed like 100 times. I had hoped he would leave, but he just stood there and watched me as I worked. I was working on a boat that would sail me to the island of Ogygia. I had to get there so that I could rescue Calypso, the girl I had fallen in love with during my short stay with her. When I left, I promised her that I would return and I was going to keep my promise. I hadn't told Jason all of that, but he could see what the boat was. "Leo, don't tell me you're going off on your own." Piper's voice sounded worried as she joined her boyfriend. "What gave you that idea?" I asked as I turned to face her. "That boat isn't big enough for more than one person." She replied. Two, I thought, my boat can hold two people. "It's just for an emergency, kind of like a life boat." I tried. That calmed her down a lot, "Oh, well okay. Come on Jason, Frank wants to talk to you." I watched as the couple walked away before turning back to my boat, okay, I thought, almost done. The frame was done and so was the rest of the actual boat, but the magic parts needed to be added in order for me to reach Ogygia, otherwise it would just sail to some weird place I don't want to be. I took a deep breath and returned to my work.
