"Manny, babe, please don't be mad at me," Jay pleaded with Manny. Jay and Manny were happily engaged, for real, but they still had their problems. Jay had promised Manny he would stop smoking but it was hard to quit but Jay was trying. Manny didn't see it that way.
"Jay it only makes me feel like you love them more than me," Manny said looking at the ground. Jay knew Manny was confident, always, so this was foreign territory.
Jay wrapped his arms around her waist preventing her from walking out of their apartment. She was still looking at the floor. She was slightly embarrassed to say she needed Jay to love her more than everything else but she knew it was true. Jay wasn't totally sure what to say to Manny to reassure her that she was the best thing he had ever had in this life so he simply pulled her in as close as he could and held her.
Manny sobbed into Jay's chest. They both knew that this conversation had started out with Manny being mad at Jay for not trying hard enough but the subject quickly changed to Manny's insecurities.
Jay leaned down and pressed his lips to her ear then said, "Babe, I love you don't let anything give you doubts about that."
Manny then pushed her way out of his arms and into the bedroom, locking the door behind her. Jay stood at the bedroom door pleading for her to talk to him but it was useless. She wasn't coming out until she was ready. He say down in front of the door and waited. He began singing to him.
It's been one week since you looked at me cocked your head to the side and said I'm angry, five days since you laughed at me saying, get that together come back and see me.
Inside the bedroom Manny heard Jay singing to himself and tried not to laugh. He couldn't sing but she liked listening to him because even his flaws made her happy. She inhaled deeply and opened the bedroom door and leaned against the frame. He looked up at her. Manny smiled down at him, "Barenaked Ladies, really?"
Jay stood up to face her, he nodded and smiled. He kissed her lightly. She hugged him tightly and smiled, " Jay I need you, a lot. I don't let on that I do but I really do Jay. I love you."
He kissed the top of her head, "Manuela Santos, I love you."
When he used her full name like that it sent shivers up her spine and he knew it. He smiled to himself, and she didn't question him.
He picked her up bridal style and carried her onto the bed. She smiled and began kissing down his neck. He let out a low groan, then he cleared his throat, "Manny I just wanted to snuggle with my beautiful girl."
She smiled and whispered in his ear, "Well I don't. Fuck me Jay."
He laid her down on the bed, propping himself above her. She pulled him down onto of her and kissed him. She wrapped her legs around his waist. She felt his hardening member and giggled into his mouth. He pulled away for a moment, "What?" He gave her a questioning look.
"You just wanted to cuddle?" She returned the questioning look. She smiled and pressed his lips to her once again. Every kiss felt like the first to him. He got butterflies and fell in love all over again every time.
