Did It Hurt?
Ritsu pov
It had been a long hell week to say the least. For one it came early and lasted a extra week.
Everyone in the Emerald department was tired but happy for the long weekend approaching. Mino had left with the normal departments talking about a doctor's appointment for his kid. The others had stayed, or rather, Takano had forced them to stay and clean up their work areas.
'Damn that Takano-san! And I have to deal with my mom this weekend too. At least she's not going to be bugging me about the engagement and wedding.'
I thought of a while back when An-chan came to a 'Family dinner' with a sweet girl named Maria. She was an american and the two were quite happy together. My mom just about passed out when she saw this. I congratulated her on finding love. Turns out she was forcing herself to love me to cover the , Mom gave up on that bride and asked when their wedding was. I'm kind of excited to help them plan if they are at dinner again.
I felt myself smile at that, as I finished packing my bag. Then a funny thought came to mind.
'Should I? Or more importantly could I?'
Takano had been making passes at me everywhere. Most everyone took it as a joke with the exception of our department and the Sapphire department. They handled Yaoi and I was half afraid to go down there.
I stood up, ready to pull this off. Just got wait for the yell.
"Onodera, you better not be thinking of leave with a messy area, are you?'
My back is turned to him, with my case hanging over my shoulder giving me a cocky appearance. Turn fast to him and smile. All eyes are on us.
"I am done, but I have question for you. Did it hurt?"
He crosses his arms and puts on that smirk.
"When I fell from heaven?"
"No, when you fell for me."
It was beautiful. The speechless look on his face. Kisa rolling on the floor. Hatori holding his stomach and trying so hard not to laugh. From there I turned and walked out, only to find Yokozawa laugh his arse off. The girls and guy at Sapphire squeal in total joy. I walked out feeling pretty good about myself. And that's when it hit me. The second I get home, I was done for.
And that dear friends is how Onodera Ritsu stunned his former and present love with a goofy pick up line. Then spend the next three days basting in his glory as Takano was still quite stunned, and then next four work days avoiding the doom of the bedroom. And it didn't take Takano-san long to ravish his editor and lover.
