Mom, Mom get in here!" Rory Gilmore called to her mother Lorelei Gilmore, who came running into the bathroom.
"What, what is it." Lorelei asked looking worried.
"It's blue."Rory said as she started crying.
"Oh Rory, shh it's gonna be ok."Lorelei said hugging her daughter.
"Im sorry." Rory said.
"For what?" Lorelei asked.
"I know you didn't want me to become you. You wanted something better for me. I know I made a mistake and now I'm paying for it. So I'm sorry I didn;t mean to disappoint you." Rory explained.
" Rory you didn't disappoint me, yeah I'm upset that you don't get a normal life now but you can never be a disappointment. I love you and you know I think everything happens for a reason, so that means that this baby is fate. Now you get to decide your's. Are you going to keep it." Lorelei asked. Knowing it wasn't really the right time but also knowing that a plan is always the best thing in this situation.
"I don't know I just found out and my head has been playing all of the options and I just can't choose. I think I just need to be alone with my thoughts. Thank God it's summer right." Rory said truthfully.
"Alright but I have to go to the inn so if you need anything you call me ok." Lorelei said.
When rory nodded she headed out and finished getting ready. When she was leaving she found Rory sleeping on the couch and unconsciously smiled. Rory woke up a couple of hours later and decided to get out of the house. She went into her room and changed into a flowy Bohemian white skirt and a light blue tank top. She slipped on some white flip flops and grabbed her purse then headed out. She decided that she was going to stop by Luke's and get something to eat. "Hi Luke" Rory said sitting down on the stool in front of the counter.
"Usual." Luke said.
"Yeah but no coffee, um do you have fruit punch?" She asked.
Luke looked like he just saw Elvis wearing a chicken outfit.
"NO coffee? Who are you and what have you done with rory gilmore." Luke asked.
" it's me Luke I just didn't realize I said it. So fruit punch?" Rory asked.
"Sure coming right up." Luke said. A half an hour later Rory had finished her pancakes and bacon, had four glasses of minute made fruit punch, which luke had to go get from Dooses because he didn't have any and was now on her way to the inn. When she had refused coffee she realized that she did it subconsciously knowing that you aren't supposed to drink coffee when your pregnant. That made her think that even though she was young she could be a great mom, she had protected her baby without knowing it.
" Hi Michel were's mom?" Rory asked.
"I don't know somewhere but not here helping me." Michel said
"Thanks I think I'll got look for her." Rory said.
Rory went straight to the ktichen knowing that her mother had probably told Sookie and she was rarely seen out of the kitchen. "Rory fruit of my loins. How are you, made any big decisions lately?" Lorelei asked wiggling her eyes.
" Yes I have. I am going to keep it.
Authors note- This is my first Gilmore girls fanfiction, i haven' t seen all of the episodes yet but I'm working on it so if some of the stuff doesn't seem right please tell me and i will do my best to fix it. Um the time line is July the summer after Rory's first year at Chilton. Tristan has left for military school alreadyand is coming back this school year. How rory got pregnant will be explained later but right now she is about two months.
