Chapter 1: A Special Present
It had only been 2 months since Miaka had married Taka Sukunami and had started living in an upscale Tokyo apartment. Their honeymoon had been a few weeks in France, and when the finally consummated their marriage the night after they arrived in Paris, France, she felt complete. She could still remember it like it was just yesterday that she had sex for the first time as a married woman. The heat of the kisses, the tingles that ran up her spine every time he kissed her, their sweaty bodies pressed up against each other, the feeling of Taka being inside her, and the amount of pleasure they both felt as they reached their peak and relaxed against each other breathing hard.
One morning Taka was awoken to the sound of Miaka disposing of last nights dinner in the toilet. He quickly got out of bed and ran into their bathroom, once he reached Miaka, who was crouched on the floor leaning against the toilet looking absolutely exhausted, he started moving her hair out of her face and rubbing her back. When she stopped throwing up she started to stand up but she was tired she couldn't get up all the way, so Taka picked her up and carried her to the sink so she could brush her teeth. Then he carried her back to bed and snuggled up to her and held her tight and kissed her forehead.
The next morning Taka awoke to find a pale and feverish Miaka in bed next to him, he started to panick. Miaka never gets this sick. Even when she had the flu she wasn't this pale. " Miaka, hey Miaka wake up for me, come on hon, you gotta wake up." Taka said leaning over her and draped a cold wet cloth over her forehead.
Taka was wiping away the sweat on her face and neck when Miaka's eyes opened half-way and said," Taka it hurts so much." and promptly closed her eyes again. Taka quickly went and grabbed the phone and called Keisuke and told him to come over and to bring Miaka's mom along to. Once Keisuke and his mom got to their apartment they found the door cracked open and they quickly ran in.
Taka heard them come in and yelled for them to shut the door and told the they were in the master bedroom. Keisuke entered the room hesitantly, afraid of what he might see. His eyes widened as he rushed in to get a closer look at Miaka's writhing form and Taka holding onto her hand. " Taka, what's wrong with Miaka?"
" I don't know Keisuke, Miaka was throwing up last night and then she was like this when I woke up this morning."
" We have to get her to the hospital now!" Miaka and Keisuke's mom said. Taka picked up Miaka and they all rushed out of the apartment. While on their way to the hospital they got stuck in traffic, so Keisuke told Taka to take her and run to the hospital and told him they will get there as soon as they can. Taka, abiding his brother-in-laws wish, he ran as fast as he could with Miaka in his arms.
