Oh My Gosh….its been forever. I am so sorry I haven't updated any of my stories. I was in Sri-Lanka having the time of my life (Ah that heavenly place; sun and sand…I miss it, UK has a shit weather) anyways…. I don't know when I'll be updating any of my other stories; I need to get my mojo back on track.
Here's something I cooked up while I was on the 12-hour flight. Probably not my best attempt.
Love U's
IT IS WHAT IT IS…
Love, for Ziva David, was merely a word. A word that had no real definition by any means; it was a word stuck rigidly between the words 'I' and 'you' between two people in a relationship, It was word of promises that will never be, a word falsely keeping two people together.
If somebody asked her what love was, she would merely laugh and say '"trapped with a person forever, nothing more". She had never been in love, and according to her, she never will be in; of course she's had many relationships lasting from a day to two months but never love… because she knew that love was a dangerous path for anyone to follow; that path had potholes, cracks and sinkholes and she did not want to be trapped in it gulping down the sorrow; the inevitable resolution to being in love.
This was all before she met the moron who changed her world, for the better. He broke down the wall that she built around herself, the core of her very existence. His smile melted her and made her weak in the knees, his comparison of movies to life made her furrow her eyebrows and think 'how can somebody be so shallow?' his light hearted banter and immaturity that made her smile, his caring and compassionate heart and not to mention the flourishing handsome face that he sported, were the thing that spun her world around. The more of her days she spent around him, the more she wanted to be around him.
The first time his lips met hers; no pretence or NCIS between them, it was slow and sensuous but it was the sincerity in the kiss that made her realise…that it was something special; it was indeed Love. It was what it was; one person's way of thinking wouldn't change the pure existence of it. Because the feeling of that first kiss was something she'd never understood, it was rare for her to feel anything for a man, especially for one who couldn't hold a woman for a day.
Anthony Dinozzo changed her world…he changed her, to be more a person than a walking machine.
If being 'trapped' with Anthony Dinozzo was love…she didn't want anything more. Just his mere existence beside her every night was enough.
"What are you smiling about?" Tony mumbled.
Her smile grew bigger as she replied, "Nothing!". She snuggled closer to him before placing a little kiss to where his heart would be.
Mix up some reviews and put it in the oven….
Keep smiling…it makes people wonder what you're up to!
