Hey everyone! This poem here I made up during History class (aaah the wonders that mind-numbing classes have on the brain!) and I tried to keep Naruto's words in character (can't be having him use words that are too big that wouldn't be in his vocabulary, haha). So yeah, enjoy it!

A Letter to Sasuke Uchiha

From: Naruto Uzumaki

I just don't understand you

We wanted you to stay

Sacrificing so much to help you

But you pushed us away.

You can't decide your fate

Why can't you listen when we call?

I don't wish to believe

That you don't care for us at all.

I've always wondered of your past

Behind onyx eyes I knew there danger lay

But none of it will matter

If you betray us anyway.

I never thought this of you

I still can't figure out how

You ignored us and you hurt us

But that's all behind us now.

My goal was to get ahead of you

And though we would always fight

I was in secret awe of your power

I hope one day you'll see the light.

Both of us have dark in our lives

We're similar in a way

We now have companions, precious friends

Who support us every day.

No one knows when you'll return

And you might plan on never

But I'll tell you now, I won't give up

I'll be on your trail forever.

I just thought that you would recall

Before we found you'd gone

How in the sidelines of battle, we'd keep our hope

By cheering each other on.

We made such a good team, side by side

I regret we fought until the end

Though I try to convince myself otherwise

In my heart you'll always be my friend.

You'd be emotionless through admiration

I envied your Sharingan and charm

I never believed you'd willingly

Cause us any harm.

We possess the will of fire

We're Team 7, after all

This means that together we will die

And united we shall fall.

You thirst for ultimate power

Obtained by Orochimaru's mark

I can't stand for us to be separated

You're blinded by his dark.

Don't say that I don't know your pain

Like you I've always been alone

Everything worthwhile, everything you've lived for

All you've ever known.

Your dreams were shattered, your soul brims with hate

And the ones you loved are lost

You travel far to seek revenge

But tell me, at what cost?

I swore that I would bring you home

Yet I returned with nothing but my kunai pack

Can't you see what you're doing?

Stupid Uchiha, just come back.

I'll succeed to bring you back to Konoha

If you hurt anyone, I'll make you pay

I won't let up on my promise

'Cause that's my shinobi way.

You let down those who believed in you

You made Sakura cry

You're a baka, self-centered, arrogant…

At least you could have

Said goodbye.
